We are open for the 2026 season up to and including 30th September 2026, with bookings still available subject to availability.
Prices, availability and bookings for our 2027 season will be available online from 1st December 2026.
A warm, island welcome awaits you at this friendly, family-run campsite in Shawbost
– a pretty crofting village on the scenic west coast of Lewis.
Opened in 1992, Eilean Fraoich campsite is situated one mile from Shawbost shore
and its adjacent freshwater loch, as well as being overlooked by Beinn Bhragair.
We are open annually from 1st April to 30th September, welcoming tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans throughout the season.
We are a dog-friendly and child-friendly campsite, welcoming tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans to our gentle meadow, within hearing of the murmuring Atlantic shore.
We also offer our Willerby Atlanta 40ft x 13ft static caravan, affectionately known to us as “Balloch”, for holiday lets.
